in order for sites to stay tidy and active, most admins like to have activity checks. if you don't know what they are, they're basically monthly (sometimes weekly) checks to ensure that members are active and want to keep their characters. these are especially useful if you have a very populated site. some are longer and require post proof, others are just a matter of stating your name.
