&& activity check templates
in order for sites to stay tidy and active, most admins like to have activity checks. if you don't know what they are, they're basically monthly (sometimes weekly) checks to ensure that members are active and want to keep their characters. these are especially useful if you have a very populated site. some are longer and require post proof, others are just a matter of stating your name.

'shipping pages' are pages where you put in details about your characters and other people can suggest relationships for them. these have changed quite a bit since i started role playing, so i've got the older types (with rainbow song lyrics) and the newer types that involve telling stories about your character.

thread trackers are for quick access to anything you've ever posted in. they're especially useful on big forums that have a lot of open threads in almost every board.

a lot of the time, characters have siblings, lovers, best friends that are important to who they are as well as the role playing experience. so, you request them.
